Saturday, June 10, 2023 – The term “moving day” certainly lived up to its name on Saturday at the RBC Canadian Open. Nick Taylor shot the composite-course record after firing a 9-under 63 to lead the Canadian contingent and sit three shots back of leader, C.T. Pan.
Taylor recorded nine birdies during his round including five on the front nine to shoot a 31. He continued his momentum by opening and closing the back nine with birdies to take the early clubhouse lead at Oakdale Golf and Country Club.
Pan booked himself a spot in Sunday’s final pairing with Tommy Fleetwood after shooting a 6-under 66 which included a strong finish with back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18, finishing with seven on the day. Pan currently sits at -14 and holds a two-shot lead over a group of six golfers which includes: Fleetwood, two-time defending champion Rory McIlroy, Mark Hubbard, Justin Rose, Harry Higgs and Andrew Novak.

Due to extremely high demand of pre-paid parking, RBC Canadian Open spectator parking at Downsview Park is now completely sold out for Sunday, June 11. Spectators traveling to the RBC Canadian Open are encouraged to utilize TTC services, rideshare/car hire and to please consider carpooling. As a reminder, there is no public parking onsite at Oakdale or in the surrounding neighbourhood.
Via TTC:
Subway: Downsview Park Station is the nearest subway station to Oakdale Golf & Country Club. Spectators will be able to access a free shuttle from Downsview Park to the golf course and the concert site.
Bus: Oakdale Golf & Country Club is accessible via multiple Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) bus routes to the Jane Street at Troutbrooke Dr stop · 400 m (5 min) walk.
Rideshare/ Taxi:
Ride share vehicles and other for hire vehicles will be directed to a designated area just off of Jane Street, steps from the golf course and the concert site. The ride share drop off is on Troutbrook Drive.
